Cuban artist Manuel Mendive directs his performance of "Blue Mangoes" at The Studios of Key West, Feb 20, 2014.
Mendive appears as part of "One Race/Una Raza," an international cultural exchange between Cuba and Key West.
10 Cuban artists are presented in 5 locations across Key West, while Key West folk artist Mario Sanchez is exhibited in Havana.
"One Race/Una Raza" is produced by The Studios of Key West with Florida Keys Council of the Arts, Hemingway House & Museum, Mel Fisher Maritime Museum and Oldest House & Garden Museum, and curated by Nance Frank, Gallery on Greene, and Hortensia Montero, Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, Hanava Cuba.
