Damian DeAngelis and the team behind First Flight Island Restaurant and Brewery have been dreaming of spreading their wings, pun intended. And now, with their recent venture into distributing their small-batch brews, that dream is a reality.

The Southernmost Brewery has a selection of three cans: Capt. Maverick IPA, Sunset Clipper & Old Havana Ale. Marky Pierson and Kristyn LaMoia lead the design team in the creation of the label artwork. The labels and artwork all feature classic 20th century aircrafts and clever connections to the history of the Pan Am Building.

Capt. Maverick IPA

The most popular of the local breweries selections, the medium pale ale tips its hat to not only the history of the Pan Am Building, but the iconic Top Gun film, starring among others, Kelly McGillis, for whom the former restaurant, Kelly’s, was named.

Sunset Clipper

The Sunset Clipper citrus wheat captures the essence of paradise and the bliss of enjoying a legendary Key West Sunset.

Old Havana Red

Well known for being the birthplace of Pan American World Airways, Pan-Am’s first tickets were sold out of the historic building on Caroline & Whitehead Streets. Initially a scheduled air mail and passenger service operating between Key West and Havana, the amber ale features flavors as rich as the history of the Key West to Cuba connection.
